Update

Sorry things have been a bit quiet here, I've been sick so didn't have a chance to do much.  However, I've now had a burst of activity and will have most of the shows I've got recorded ready to go in the next few days (I'll probably set them up to go up every few days, rather than all at once).  The only one that I'm not sure about is Justin Townes Earle - acoustic shows are proving very hard to record, because the performance is very quiet, but the crowd is loud, so finding the right audio level is tough.  We'll see what happens with that one, but St Vincent, Crosby, Still & Nash, and My Morning Jacket will soon be making appearances.

Phew, just got the call that my computer is ready to be picked up.  I've got the following in various states of readiness:

Death Cab for Cutie second night (haven't actually listened to this or any of the others below so I can't guarantee anything)

Plus I have I'm pretty certain I only got part of Bad Religions show, although if, by some chance, I got the whole thing I'll post that too.

Update: had the quickest of listens to the new shows and all are fine (might still be some minor problems), except for the Bad Religion show which is incomplete.

Update

As I mentioned while back, I've been having lots of computer problems.  I've now been forced to take it in for repairs (last week actually).  Given their timeframe for repairing things it should be back by the middle of next week, hopefully earlier.  Apologies for that, but it was unavoidable.

In the meantime I've still been taping shows.  I've got the following in various stages of readiness:

Not been a good few weeks blog wise.  The promised increase in uploading power didn't materialise, and my computer seems to be in the process of imploding.  This has meant I haven't been able to update with the material I had planned on putting up.  Once things are back on track I expect to have a LOT of stuff to put up.  I've already mentioned the Beirut show, plus I recorded Battles sideshow, and want to put up Pearl Jam in Atlanta 1994.  I'll also be attending quite a few shows in the next month.  So although things might be quiet, they will pick up again as soon as I have a computer that doesn't crash every few minutes.

I'm going to have some increased uploading power next week so I'm planning on making use of it to put a few things up (some will be scheduled so they won't all appear next week).  Expect to see:

Elton John - 7 December at Rod Laver
Beirut - 9 January at HiFi (I haven't actually listened to this yet so this is subject to the recording being OK)
A few classic Pearl Jam shows since the votes seem to suggest there is some interest out there
One or two Wilco shows (or outtakes albums etc)
Whatever other things I find that might be of interest

So keep an eye out, and if you have any requests for particular bands put them in the comments and I'll see what I can do.

I didn't really think about the fact that the last post was so long it would knock Future of the Left off the front page.  If you've been waiting for the link its up there now.

Updates

Sorry for the lack of any new material - I've got a new job that is taking up a lot of my time.  I'm hoping to be able to put up a couple more shows this year, and have lots lined up for next year.

In the meantime, there is a complete recording of the Okkervil River show (I only managed to capture part of it) at fanmaderecordings.blogspot.com/.  I haven't had a chance to download it yet, so can't comment on the quality.  If I have the time and inclination I may create a hybrid recording if the portion of the show I recorded justifies it.

I'll be making more of an effort to post at least a couple of updates every week from now on, although they won't always include new shows obviously.
